TASTING NOTE: An attractive and elegant nose of red and black berries, accompanied by some spicy notes, vanilla, black pepper, cedar and coffee. A well balanced, ripe palate with a long and persistent finish.
HARVEST & VINIFICATION: The grapes are sourced from a single vineyard, Block 16 in the Curicó Valley.
The high temperatures during the growth period produced grapes with good balance, ripe tannins and excellent health conditions.
5-7 days of cold maceration, selected yeasts, 28˚C temperature controlled fermentation, 4 daily pumpovers, 25 day maceration on the skins and full malolactic fermentation.
15 months in 100% French oak barriques.
